Blood donation isn't a matter of bravery. It doesn't mean that you have the guts if you donated or going to donate blood. It's an act of benevolence, no doubt an altruistic act as you've learnt from moral studies. And it's a blessing knowing that someone else, somewhere else may get the blood and be saved.

We aren't paid for donating blood. For some donors, they might feel the pain when the large hollow needle injected into their arm. Some even have bruise after giving blood.

Regardless of blood group, either type O, A, AB, or B, as long as meeting the medical requirement, you are most welcomed to be one of the volunteer blood donor!

I'd a great escape last weekend! Escaped to Muar, Johor. It was an impromptu trip, actually. In the first place, what we planned was: going for a movie and shop for groceries. But, there's an abrupt change in this plan after we took our lunch and on the way to town.

In Muar, otak-otak (the barbecue fish paste) was sought-after. We bought the famous fish otak-otak in bulk, roughly around 60 sticks. If you're tired of this repetitive range, there is also otak-otak made of prawn, fish head and chicken. They cost either fifty or sixty cents each.

Besides going for otak-otak, we tried pork satay too. It's just irresistible!

It's 31th day in December, 365th day in 2010. What's your resolutions? Here goes mine,

1. Losing weight and keeping fit
First and foremost, I shall eat less, eat healthily and eat smartly. Stay away from those heavenly but sinfully delicious food. Yay, I'll try. Also, strictly no supper! Next, exercise regularly by attending aerobic and yoga class. In short, dieting in a healthy way.

2. Getting a good grade
Set a goal for achieving. Study harder and learn to study smart too. No more procrastination and laziness. No more excuses for myself. Passing all the papers with flying colour ;)

3. Save more money
I shall spend less on superfluous item. I shall also spend PTPTN money wisely and prudently. Window shopping instead of shop hunting. Less entertainment. On top of that, I shall spend less on food which is also an alternative way to diet.

That's it, that's all. I'll keep the rest of resolutions to myself.

2010 has been a pretty good year and I should be thankful so much for this year. Thankful for a wonderful family and caring friends, a lots of awesome foods, good health and safety, an university to attend, frequent traveling and gathering, and last but not least, the PTPTN loan to ease my parent's burden. Disregard the unhappiness, obstacles and downs in life, it's actually filled with much mirth and new experience.

So, be thankful while waving to 2010. Welcoming 2011 with a loving smile and big hug.

Back to KL, we continue to indulge in feast. We made our way to Sushi Zanmai. They serve one of the best sushi in town. In fact, it's my first attempt and I had been there twice in a week! First time was at 1Utame and second time was at Mid Valley Megamall. I would prefer Mid Valley one because of their prefect cosy ambiance. A friendly reminder, there's always been a long queue in front of Sushi Zanmai, even if the lunch time has passed! Approximately, one will have to queue up for 10 minutes before seated. Or sometimes longer wait.

Haha, but before that we filled up our empty stomach with a feast at Chili's. It has been one year since my last savoring. This time we had our first try on Southwestern grilled lamb and Tequila-lime fish steak. Since no photo is taken, there's is the description from the menu.

After a one day shopping spree at Suria KLCC, we had our dinner at Little Penang Cafe. And again the cafe's almost full house. Yay, almost only.

Somewhere my sister's place there (Kota Damansara), there's Jojo little kitchen, a shop well-known for their variety of pan mee (板麵). Two thumbs up!

With the exception of the siew pau, there's another sought-after Seremban siew hai. It's saliva-inducing by just browsing all the photos taken! *drooling :P

We had the best siew hai here.

The starter. Come with dipping sauce (their own secret recipe).

Believe it or not? This is butter and cheese crab.

In my humble opinion, black pepper crab isn't that palatable. Likewise, the butter and cheese crab. But hold on, their seafood is fresh and the siew hai is excellent, truly heavenly! It's worth a try :)

Seremban #1

Seremban is one of the food paradise in Malaysia. Around 1 hour journey from KL, it's a place that full of competitive heavenly food. Seremban is kinda small, so you won't get lost easily. Drive yourself there for one day trip or family day would be excellent.

First, let start with a food hidden at Pasar Besar Seremban. Economical beef noodles (牛腩粉). The stall named Sin Yee Kee. However, I found it salty because they added too much black sauce.

Dry beef noodles. You can also opt for beef noodles soup.

Moving on to a restaurant that renowned for curry chicken bun (咖哩面包鸡). Unfortunately, they don't have it during my visit. As a result, we just have our normal lunch there. Well, actually it's still the superb one.

Forget what its name. But it's my favourite!

Up next is Haji Shariff Cendol. Its sell cendol, cendol kacang, cendol jagung, cendol pulut, rojak and rojak mee etc etc. The significant feature of the building is its unique green colour, even those tables and chairs are all in green!

Seremban is well-known for its siew pau. And I'd tried siew pau of two different shop. I paid my visit to this Siew Pau Empire last week. This is somewhere near the toll. They also sell egg tarts and durian egg tarts.

Another one which I would highly recommend:

The shop looks exactly like a typical bakery, or I should call it a 'siew pau factory'. All their siew pau and egg tarts are freshly baked. The aroma should overwhelms your nostrils when you're approaching the shop.

What amaze me is, it remains crispy and juicy and fresh until the next morning. Toothsome!

Okay, this is a food post again. If you're starving, don't scroll down! Make sure your stomach is stuffed with food.

Living in Malaysia is blissful because of the drool-inducing food. Well, I'd tried Nyonya laksa and durian cendol in Melaka for n times. And I posted it once and twice and thrice! It's time to post some other food in Malacca. Also, it's time to post some other food from another corner in Malaysia.

Back to Malacca, I discovered the juicy and tender takoyaki, Japanese style grilled octopus balls. Found from a stall at Jonker Walk.

Next it was Hup Huat restaurant. They are popular for their porridge and fried wanton.

The fried wanton and vegetable. FYI, there's a prawn in each fried wanton.

Oyster sauce chicken. Recommended.

Oh ya, they'd moved to: No.101-1, Jalan SP1, Taman Semabok Perdana, 75050 Melaka.

Continue on to Kuala Lumpur.
The sought-after fish head beehoon soup (鱼头米). If not mistaken, the name of the restaurant is Winson. A bowl of it costs nearly RM13++. Can't really remember the exact price since I ain't the one who paid. It's most probably full house during meal time.

There is a thumb-size shrimp on top. Hmm...yummy~Wine added is the soul of the soup.

Next, the famous Foong Foong Ampang Yong Tau Foo. There are many Yong Tau Foo restaurants set up along the street. But I was recommended that this would be the truly delicious one. It's cheap but nice.

Had our high tea at Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, KLCC. This is because the GPS mislead us to KLCC carpark. *Sigh and sweat.

Each of everyone has a cup of Ice blended coffee while I had a classic log cake. Although the portion seems small, it's enough to fill up my empty stomach.

Glued to internet? Watched soap opera like a couch potato? Napping? Flipped pages of notes?

Haha. I had mine a fruitful and restless one.

Other than doing revision for the midterm test, I sneaked out for some dainties.

First, it was the unexpected, but totally welcomed popiahs from Jalan Bunga Raya, delivered by Kheng Yam. Thank you very much! It's superb after all. Especially the deep fried pork lards.

Next up was Full House Cookies & Cafe. A conventional one yet NOT the one as in KL.

Chill out and relax at Xuan Music Cafe later. A glass of non-alcoholic beverage and surrounded by the embrace of music. Just nice.

Jonker 88 again, and again and again.......on Sunday. Can't really help this when you're here in the historical place. What's more to say when laksa and cendol are your current cravings?

I opened my eyes and thought that I was home. In fact, it was only just a dream.

Frankly, I am longing for the love, care, attention and warmness from home. And no, it's far from here. To me, home is the warmest place on Earth. And families are the best gift I've ever received. They inspire me to propel towards my dream. Giving me strength and courage whenever I'm stumbled, whenever I feel like quitting.

I've learned the valuable lesson of appreciation and satisfaction. Knowing that I shall appreciate everything I have at the moment, before they slip through my fingers. Keeping in mind, I shall consistently thankful how wonderful life is. Of course, be optimistic even though life is mighty terrible.

Life's passing by at fast pace. Thus, despite of all the ups and downs, appreciate life itself every passing minute, even if it's less than perfect.

I am weary of those Ptptn stuff. But for your information, I have settled it all by this morning while I was still having the heavy eyelids. This is because my willingness to sacrifice; I only copped some z's like a total of.....around 3 hours sleep? Haha. That why I kept on 'fishing'; I nodded off again and again during the tutorial class.

I treat getting a loan for my studies and sleeping, both unbiasedly important. Money (loan) is imperative as it helps pursuing my dream. So do sleeping, but in an indirect way. Yet, when both of them come into conflict, I know I can only choose either one. For today's case, I chose money in the first place.

Back then, I'm not good at making decision, specifically the impromptu one. Neither now. For instance, I always have to ponder whenever food appears right in front me. Eat or not to eat. Struggling between weight and food. Still, there's exception sometimes. And miracle's happening.

Okay, basically I would like to introduce a great new place to have western and local cuisine somewhere near Ixora. I bet everyone knows about it. They've just started their business a couple days ago. The windmill restaurant. We took our lunch there today.

Little did I know, they're moving from the old Jusco.

My sister ordered Nasi Goreng Tom Yam. It comes with vegetable soup and lime juice as the set lunch.

As for me, I had hot and spicy fish (deep fried Dory fish with special spice powder). I give an average comment since it's still......edible. No photo was taken because I was so hungry that I ain't willing to spend even a few seconds to snap it.

My taste buds are stimulated. Off to bed now. Till then.

Dynasty Ice n Snacks

Another typical cafe in town. Somewhere at Malacca Raya area.

The portion is literally big. It just looks little on the capacious plate.

Oh ya, indeed I wish to blog about that the Italy Bakery which is a stone's throw away. It sells sinful Portuguese egg tarts with crispy crust and succulent filling; and exquisite tempting chicken siew pau. Both are highly recommended :)

The Jetty

I played pool game start from scratch. It's the first time in my life. One has to fully focus and don't easily get diverted when hitting. Distraction is the paramount problem in aiming the balls. And yet, I'm still learning to make a good and proper shots.

As a matter of fact, I fall in love with the game.

Yi Tang Steamboat Restaurant

It isn't buffet style. In fact, we pay accordingly for what we have eaten. Just as the concept of satay celup.
Each of us has a small individual pot. There's no need to share among all. Hygiene and convenient. One need not to fret about the matter of saliva and surely no problem at reaching the food.

Variety of fresh steamboat stuff. This is just part of it.

Chicken soup (清汤), Tomyam soup, and Spicy soup (麻辣) to be chosen. And I prefer to have hot and spicy soup base. It's well-seasoned and oily because of the chili oil and some spices. For me, the level of spiciness is still acceptable.

Fortunately, I don't gain weight. Because I exercise at least three a week. Aerobic twice and yoga once. The forth time will be the random 2-hours badminton session.

Wok & Pan Restaurant

East meets West cuisine.

This is the Grilled Marinated Pork Chop. Boneless pork chop which has been well-marinated; it's just stuffed with sauce and sent to grill. If I ain't mistaken, the sauce is the one with herbs and spices. Tender and juicy, with smoky-flavoured.

Yamcha session. Trash-talk and idle talk, spilling.

Beatles. A hard day's night.
There are classic portraits hanging on the walls.

The Honey Green Juice. It is stated that (the juice), refreshing, eliminates nervousness and to lower blood pressure. I have absolutely no idea of it since the juice I had is mostly "sky juice".

Love your favourite. Love the twist.
And I love the deep fried spicy chicken, particularly chicken breast meat.

Hailam Kopitiam

They serves authentic Hainanese food, besides western cuisine.

The best part of it; they do provide games to kill boredness. Include Uno card game.

Okay, I've totally forgot the name of the kopotiam and its exact location. But it's famous among MMU students or even Malacca people. I guess.

There are yam (taro) rice and white rice for customers to choose. Yet, I recommend yam rice because it's just heavenly. Moist and fragrant.

Deliciously vegetable with fried red onions on top.

Superb and inspiring German Pork Knuckle. They are grilled to perfect doneness. Somehow they taste like char siew.

Bak Kut Teh. Choose to add in anything you desired or like.

Carry On Steamboat

The shop is hidden at first floor, located right beside Pure Bar.
It's buffet style. Means all-you-can-eat.

The choices of food are too much. I only managed to have at most second rounds.
Soft drinks, tea and sky juice are provided free of charge; and also bottomless. In addition, we also no need to pay for the fruits.

There are two kinds of soup base in the list. And we chose tomyam-based.

Nadeje Patisserie

This is the main branch, opposite Wok & Pan Restaurant.

The ambience is cosy and comfortable. It's worth the price.

The best among the rest: Original flavoured Mille Crepe.

Strawberry Chocolate Mille Crepe.

Berry-berry strawberry Mille Crepe.

I got this for free after collecting ten stamps, nonetheless, only original flavoured Mille Crepe is redeemable.

There is a newly open restaurant at Premier 101 and we go for a try. They serves ambrosial food at reasonable and affordable price. During the time we dine in there, it's full house.

The menu is beautiful. And so the food. Hmm, I can smell the aroma of the delectable food here.

Blood 10.11.10

I was a member of Red Crescent since primary four, quitting after graduate from high school. Being a part of the big family, this giving me chances to volunteer in a number of blood donation and organ donation campaign. Well, blood and organ donation are always together. I still remember the last time I'd volunteered in the campaign and has this sudden urge to donate blood when I turns eighteen. That time I'm still sixteen. Naive, huh?

During eighteen, I think I've totally forgot all about this. Also, my sister was kind of like showing sarcasm, almost every time when I voice up to her; that does changing my mind. But not for this time.

Now, I'm so proud of myself for doing it. Finally! And you know what, I will do it again and again in future. Crossed my heart ;)

One day before Deepavali, if I'm not mistaken. We're loitering around right after our tutorial class. This time, without Wei Jiao, only three of us.

And it's lunch time, again, Nyonya laksa. And again, durian puff. I desired 'em much.

My friends brought me to a Guan Yin temple, somewhere at Jonker. I had never been there. Of course, I went to temple before. But not when in Melaka.

While ambling along the street, it reminded me of the joyful moment I spent with my sisters, a couple days ago. So clear so real. It just couldn't help flashing across my mind. I miss them lots.

Drifting away from the main topic, Wei and I had paid a visit to Yin last few days, meeting up at Bukit Jalil bus terminals. I'm pretty glad she's doing well, moving into new environment and got a new car. I like her room much more than the previous one. There are variety of facilities, says swimming pool, badminton court, tennis court and gymnasium. I like her car most, though it caused some matters. Worriment.

Kim Teng hauled us to Tanjung for a walk. We strolled and fooled around, like usual. Not much happening.

Time's ticking ceaselessly. November has came. October just ended like that. Life's brief candle.

This year, October has five Friday, five Saturday and five Sunday. And also, don't forget the day, 20.10.2010. How wonderful it is. I had spent the last extraordinary weekends in October with my beloved sisters. Including Halloween's eve ;P

Acting like tourists, we strolled at Jonker's walk. Walking down the street with the hot sun high in the sky, we sweat a lot. But we still managed to snap all the happy moment, with everyone's putting on their smiling face :)

Nyonya Asam Laksa, Durian Cendol, Durian puff. Those are what we love much.

Oh ya, we shopped at San Shu Gong too. My sister bought bags and bags of local products as souvenir for her Taiwan colleagues.

Nadeje Mille Crepe and Satay Celup, once again. Those are our all time favourites.

This happens because Nadeje is one of the best and popular place to have photo shot :P

What more to say when my sister's Nikon D5000 screen can be rotated, tilted and swung out.

After the sun set, the moon hangs way up high in the sky. It's the happy hour. We had actually called off our plan to Pure Bar at first place, and just drinking at Geographer. But it's full house, making us heading to Pure Bar at last. Ops.

I flashback all the photos, all the happenings seem to be just like yesterday. Where loads of laughter and mirth fill the air. ♥

Sakura

Bread, or anything similar to that, is my cup of tea. With every bite of it, I'm on cloud nine. Somehow, I'm blissfully happy when there's this heavenly smell of freshly baked bread. That why I like going to bakery.

Bread's always to be my priority, following by rice.

Nevertheless, I also do love sushi. Particularly, nigirizushi (hand formed sushi) and temakizushi (hand rolled sushi). Sometimes, they're so delectable that I can forget all about bread.

This is my first time to dine in Sakura House. I think they're sort of serving economical and affordable Japanese food. I admit that there's savoury dishes but I don't really like their rice, rather different from Sushi King.

If I ain't mistaken, they sell nihonshu (Japanese sake). However, bottomless green tea is provided for free. Just that you'll have to refill by your own.

Okay, it's time for food to be served. First, there comes a toothsome okonomi yaki (Japanese style pancake) and appetizing chuka kurage (seasoned jellyfish). Both are beautiful kick start.

Later, sushi plate was served right after we finished the previous dishes. Followed up by hire katsu kare raisu (Japanese style curry rice) which I share with my sister.

Dessert is a girl's best friend after diamonds. Every girls will eagerly wait for dessert in order to have the perfect finishing touch of a meal. We always like to pamper ourselves with something sweet to cheer us up.

I'm satisfied. Let's call it a day.

Homemade pasta

Ixora food court is the nearest place to have pasta. People pay at least RM 4.20 for the amply a la carte pasta. A la carte aside, there's set comes with crunchy garlic bread and thick creamy mushroom soup, roughly costs RM6.90.

I love pasta, especially spaghetti. I have a good time savor the pasta in every twirl of fork.

Now and then, I learn to make my own homemade pasta. It's the simplest way. I feel kinda embarrassed to post about the procedures. Oops! I shall actually sharing it.

** Cook the spaghetti in a pot of boiling hot water. Perhaps salted water. I always prefer using San Remo vermicelli. To get the tastier sauce, I mix Garlic and Basil Spaghetti Sauce with several spoons of Heinz 57 Chili Sauce. Next, I've cucumber, carrot, broccoli and hot dog added. Don't ever forget the juicy and tender chicken breasts. It's excellent to have it when there isn't any beef. Last but not least, let's to have a lot of cheese melting in the sauce before served. ;D

"Yeah, I'ma up at Brooklyn, now I'm down in Tribeca. Right next to De Niro, but I'll be hood forever....."

That's my alarm ring tone. Sometime, I loathe it that I hit the snooze button as soon as it went off. Knowing that's my bad habit, I usually set two or even three alarm. It works well surprisingly. It's able to throw me out of bed early in the morning, even on Saturday!

I'm such a good student. I attended my first Saturday morning class on time. Nonetheless, at noon, good girl has gone bad. I turned out to be a bad student who skipped the one hour lecture. ;( I go with my sister and friends to town. :D

Taken our lunch at Secret Recipe which situated at Mahkota Parade. I'm once again enthralled by Chicken Cordon Bleu. Diet plan fails.

Thing goes from bad to worse when we encountered a Japanese style steamboat buffet only at RM8.90 nett per pax from SAN. That made our jaw drop, drooling too. Especially at six which is the best time for dinner. Deep inside everyone's heart, we yelled with glee. All the girls came to agreement to call off our plan, Nadeje.

Melaka Maju falls on 20.10.2010. Due to the abrupt change, we had the holiday the day after, which is yesterday.

That was yesterday, yesterday is over.
It's another glorious day, after a raw drizzling rain. I lay in bed very unwilling to wake up because of the excruciating muscle pain. Nonsense actually. It's just pure laziness. XD Dragged myself out of bed, I tagged along my sister and friends for breakfast. By mid-day, we're moving to Gogo KTV at the Jetty. Although it began intimidatingly, the Karaoke session was a blast. It's also the cheapest one I ever had. Dirt cheap will be more accurate. Thereafter, I went for a haircut at Dataran Pahlawan. Ten centimeters had gone. Satay Celup was next. Extreme sinfulness and uncomfortable fullness as the aftermath.

Today it's a different day, another brand new day.
Result had just released. Neither was I cried over spilled milk, nor moaned and groaned. I'm pretty glad.

Most recent, I found Malacca is scorching. The open burning in Sumatera is turning Malacca a hot stove. Burdened by harsh air pollution, everyone has inhaled dirtier air when there's construction in progress at Ixora food court.

Hot stuffy room in Ixora and polluted air out there. You definitely don't know how to choose between staying indoor or outdoor. Frequent perspiration and thirsty feeling is pretty annoying. No doubt it's dreadful to have long term exposure to the utmost sickening pollution.

Monday blues

Monday blues is attacking, after an unforgettable weekends spent with my family. It's actually normal and common for everyone when Monday comes, needless to say it's coincidence with the starting of new semester. This signifies that it's time for me to have my head buried in books. Well, to be in exact, buried in pile of notes. No matter what, I would put more effort from now on. Otherwise, I shall most likely be cramming every single night during study week.

Okay, it was an random idea popped out in in my mind. I thought of embellishing the white and yet plain wall of my room. The consequence turned out to be unexpectedly great. :)

I've spent hours and hours doing this stuff. Something like photo frame or whatsoever. Family photos will be the perfect finishing touches.

Once done, I'm wore out. And I still dragged myself to class. Despite of hours and much energy spent, it's actually worthy.

Mid of August was the weeks for mid-term test. I was facing a hard time struggling with the tests.

End of August, we gotta accomplish all our assignments because the deadline was on early September. Whatsover assignments are dealing with calculations and theories. Among all the four assignments, the most intricate assignments was writing a C program to implement the functions of a calculator. And you know what, according to my lecturer that this assignment was, in part, actually inspired by classmate, a friend of mine. That seems like sarcasm. The seniors maybe treat this as an easy task because theirs is much more tougher, ATM system. Somehow it's fearful.

Foundation's life was not burdensome. Everything goes well without a hitch.

For Degree's life, there's a lot hidden unforeseen difficulties. We'll have to deal with almost everything by ourselves, no more spoon-fed. As for the syllabus, I can't even catch up the time I first came MMU. But it's okay for me now. Blessed. Not only that, culture shock strikes me too. That teaches me a lesson on the importance of the social skills and quintessential teamwork skills. I've learnt how to communicate without offending others, socializing and working pleasingly in a big group.

In the period of 13th to 15th August, I engaged in a giant event - Robotic Challenges Week 2010. It's a national event organized annually by MMU Robotic Club. Robopuzzle,recycle robot, Robocup, Sumo robot....and the main competition - Combat Robot was the highlight scene of the event.

Okay, let me explain. "Combat robot was like: two robots are mounted with weapons were given the mission to destroy opponent's robot in the game field. The robot which survives to the last, more aggressive, or have lesser damage will be the winner."

I've another story to tell.

Yesterday was my very first early birthday celebration with my friends in Malacca. Or in other words, far away from Kuching's home. Wei Jiao, Yew Li and Kim Teng....and me. Three of them was from Malacca. I'm the only Sarawakian.

We headed to Dataran Pahlawan right after our class which ended at 3.30p.m..
We're having a short stroll before going to Nadeje Patisserie. I love their cakes very much. Yum~ The story continued with having our lovely time a.k.a. photo shot session at the wide field of Dataran. Using Kim Teng's camera, we took a lot of pictures.
Jumping style, sleeping style...blah blah blah, somemore with retarded style, under the ♥sunshine♥. I'll upload the pictures here or Facebook next time since the pictures are not with me yet. All I can say is, everyone is enjoying themselves.

Life in Melaka started to be fascinating and active in the end of June and early of July. Oh ya, before that, I've received a pair of Dairy Freshlook Illuminate contact lens as tester from Ciba Vision already.

Haven't try on it yet.

Last Tuesday, I tagged along my sister and her friends to have our dinner at US Pizza. But, no photo was taken.

The day after, we went to eat Satay Celup at ‘万里香' for the birthday celebration of one of my sister's friends.

The kaki consists of 1 guy and 6 girls.

On Thursday, 8 of July, it was the hasten and restless day for me. I had attended early tutorial class at 9a.m.. After school, I went for 1 hour of aerobic class. Right after that I've taken my bath, I had to go for Engineering Society and MMUIEM annual general meeting. Around 9p.m., I straight away headed to 'Go-Go Karaoke' located at The Jetty, singing till the wee hours. Reached Ixora at about 3 o'clock and washed all the clothes before going bed.....

There are total of 10 kaki going sing-k.

Yesterday, I joined my classmates for 'mountain' climbing early in the morning. I think it's jogging but not mountain climbing. Conquered Bukit Beruang! We rewarded ourselves with dim-sum. =) (No photo taken, too)

Although my sister and I slept at 3a.m., still, we woke up at 6.45a.m.. Two of us plus one of my sister's friends planned to jogging at Dahlia housing area but it's rained. However, we still managed to go to market, buying grocery and having meal. Around 11 or 12 o'clock, we made our way to Dataran Pahlawan by bus. Upon arriving, we went for cakes that we're craving at Nadeje. Drooling~

Right after we left our luggage at Time Hotel, we went to Dataran Pahlawan for tea break (our lunch).

We're ambling along the Jonker Street after lingering at Dataran Pahlawan. Each of us has our first attempt for the cendol recommended by my sister.

The next morning day, we've our breakfast at MMU corner before moving on to the apartment. Then, we took a cab to go to the old Jusco, buying grocery.

Today, I went to MMU Registration Day early in the morning. I've taken my student temporary ID and other miscellaneous stuffs. After all the matter settled, we just have a simple meal as breakfast.

I dwell at Ixora Apartment with my sister as my roommate. I'm pretty satisfied with the house, especially my room....lovin' it!

The tiring journey

Upon arrive at LCCT, we headed to Old Town Restaurant to have our lunch. Or I should called it as tea break since that time's already half past two. We were famishing that we've no strength to pace even a stone's throw distance.

We lodged at Hotel Bintang Warisan, Kuala Lumpur which is a budget hotel for 2 nights.

The first day we went to Kelana Jaya to acquire some stuffs from my elder sister's place. It ends up we'd have to sweep, mop and tidy up her topsy-turvy room.

Dust is flying in the air and it turned out me wearing the mask. This is the aftermath:

We ambled along the street which is full of food stall, also known as Mamak Stall somewhere near the apartment. At last, we had our dinner at one of the popular Mamak Stall. Cheese Naan is the best. :)

I ate complimentary American breakfast to start my day.

For the second day, we shopped at Pavilion from morning till 3 o'clock. I miss the sought-after green tea and chocolate cream puff from the food court.

Around 4p.m., we went to McD to have our meal once again - The Double Spicy Chicken McDeluxe. However, I prefered the fish-fillet burger.

Going back to the hotel and take a rest. Before the sky turned dark, we made our way to Sungai Wang Plaza and Lot 10. Isetan, the place my parents bought fruits and I purchased a pair of sandal because my feet hurts.

And today, we were tired as heck with the 3 hours of journey to Malaca via taxi cab. The speed of the cab was 140km/h but still highway was seriously congested.....

A girl's dream always is to be living happily ever after with their Prince Charming. Same for man who longs for their princess as in the fairy tales. However, we should have comprehended that fairy tales are indeed utterly different from the real life. Well, maybe partially. We've gotta accept the fact, the inevitable ups and downs in life. There's this quote: 'Life is like a roller coaster.'

Talking about love affairs, I bet almost everyone will encounter obstacles and dilemmas. Some people is capable of handling the issue. They're just master of love. In spite of that, I conjecture most people's attempts in kicking all the stumbling-block away are in vain. Thing goes from bad to worse when love affair conflicts with friendship. It is detrimental to both sides involved and of course, there's no likelihood to steadily have the win-win situation. Under the circumstances, we can only rely on our high intellectual and emotional quotient in order to deal with the matter with ease.

As for friendship, we've learned that no man is an island.Friends are undeniably important. It is a blessing when you've a true friend(s). True friend will be your good listener, adviser and supporter. They'll feel disappointed, despair and even infuriating when you've done something wrong. Not to say that they would have cried for that. But, they give a pat on your back when you do a great job. True friend would urge you to share your joviality and woe with them. Even your secret! As honesty is one of the crucial element to build the stronger wall of friendship. Apparently, they wish you can open your heart and spit out all your trouble. You can joke with them because they're neither petty nor childish. They won't taunt you, it's always the misconceived. They'll not have charge of you but just hold your hand tightly and lead you a way. Guide you to the path of righteous.

So, never feel stress and grievous when be with your friends. Hope you won't, anymore. ;) It's not a big duel. You're strong enough to handle that, I cross my heart. X♥X

I'm depressed. You're not trustworthy anymore. You're just hopeless. I'm exceedingly grieved by all the concealed happening. Maybe you're a devil who masquerades as an angel. I can barely believe that I have also been defrauded. It evokes surprise and even heartbroken feeling when being betrayed in such a way. Now, I'm awaking.

Exploiting your loved ones or someone who love you for your own sake, it is what we call egoistic. But, flirting or seducing others with your beauty and devil's body curves which is God's gift, I'm totally speechless.I'm sincerely advising that you should love yourself most before getting other people to love you. Never betray yourself. Also, never ill-used others. They're not fool at all. They just do care for you. They even love you, more than you love yourself.

It is abominable to get your desire using this kind of means. However, it seems like you really indulge it. All the enjoyment, merriment and satisfaction. I admit that I've ever envy the love and care you got from others. I wish to have that too. But for sure, I'm very reluctant to act just like you in order to win attention and adoration. I wouldn't, undoubtedly.

Don't judge a book by its cover. I think the angelic veil of yours won't be able to disguise the real you. At least it's not for me anymore.

Wow, time flies away in blink of an eye. It's unimaginable that the month of May has come. It signifies that May will be the last month before I'm uprooting myself, waving to Kuching and hi to Malacca. Well, I'm going to meet new places, new faces and new challenges. This arises my enthusiasm though tensed. I have the feeling of apprehension for sure. I'm certainly afraid of loneliness and homesickness.=( What more to say I shall celebrate my birthday on August and any other BIG DAY without my loved ones?

Just ignore all my gripes.

March was marvelous and April was amazing after the fabulous February. I got the chance to date with my girls. Karaoke, dining, drinking, baking, idle gossiping and gaming (badminton). All these make my days. *Chortled :D

By the way, I'll be meeting up with both of my sisters soon. Also lastly, I'm looking forward to start an eventful life at new environment. Feign?

I hoped that it's just heat-wave but the weather was really scorching!! There's no rain for a couple of days already. Seeing everyone has grumbled for the matter. Decide to stay at home, so I could spend my sweet time watching movie from PPS. Twilight, the teen fiction. Grinned*

I knew that Twilight craze was over. Long ago. But who cares? Edward, the vampire, looked real cool, yeah!! More importantly, Bella's really absolutely beautiful. :D

Frankly speaking, I'm just not that into Edward a.k.a Robert Pattison likes any other teenage girls out there. Sorry...

Movie day a.k.a family day^^

I thought today I will be having the so called killed-by-bored holiday. I should say luckily my lovely mom urged my ~~pity little~~ daddy to bring us go for a movie. Well, we already had a movie day a.k.a family day last Friday. And yet, now with the reason of hot weather, I got the chance to spice up my day at tHE Spring. Ohh, I am referring MBO Cinema. Teehee!!:D

Upon arrival, we realized that the basement car park was quite full. As I expected, the mall was flooded (with langsss). Once again!! I guess Kuching langsss may be too free enough. But then, that's not their fault, mine as well ;)

It seems like a routine already for everyone to lining up in a long queue when buying movie tickets. I think it's good enough to queue for few minutes when comparing to few hours!@@Maybe because I always spend my time there during holiday or weekends. LOL

Although we had reached there around noon time, we bought 3 tickets of 'True Legend', showing at 4.15p.m.. So that means we had to spend the entire 3 hours eating, walking, ~~fooling around~~ or even window shopping at the mall. I was like =.=|||....

We had have Nasi Lemak with fried chicken from Madam Tang stall at the Food Bazaar. Craving for it since few days ago. I used to fall in love with their Nasi Lemak with Beef Rendang. However, I prefer Madam Kwan's one from this :)))

Walking around at the shopping mall, I encountered many many many la la mui. If you don't know what is la la mui or anything about it, it's actually okay ;) It's fine for me, at least.

They are sexy (they dressed up that way), skinny (Oops, in some case only), beautiful (~~thick~~ make-up). Most significant thing is their flowery, colourful, ~~clown-like~~ looks. I do have ~~some~~ colourful clothes in my wardrobe but I probably won't wear like: red shirt with yellow jacket with green pant with brown shoes. Just as an example.

I admit that I'm not fashion at all. =( I mean, if can, PLEASE don't wear like this. Only when you're going to the night clubs or Halloween Party!! It's better to wear T-shirt and Jeans compare to that. Or more to choose, blouse or skirt. Black or white. Simplicity is Chic.

On Sunday, we had our memorable lunch at Jogoya, a Japanese buffet restaurant at Starhill Gallery which is located near Pavilion. The restaurant serves Japanese cuisine, Chinese cuisine, Western cuisine, barbecue food, deep fried food, Dim Sum, Haagen-Dazs and New Zealand Natural ice cream, dessert, cakes, biscuit, chocolate steamboat, drink (cocktail, hot chocolate, coffee, juices.....) and etc.

Once reaching KL, we had our lunch at Little Penang at KLCC. We also had cups of coffee at The coffee bean and tea leaf while waiting the flight at LCCT for the perfect ending of the trip.=)

On the 26th, we went to Sunway Lagoon and spent whole day there.

Our dinner of of the day is at the Ying Ker Lou restaurant. The food here are really~really~nice!!! The taste of the food suits for the Hakka.

That night, we went to *Luna bar at pacific regency hotel suites. It is an open air poolside lounge bar which is best to chill out with buddies. And I found this bar is actually awarded HAPA Best Night Spot 2008-2010 Regional Series.

The day of 2009 Christmas and the eve

During the 2009 Christmas eve, we went shopping at Suria KLCC as that day my second sister was going to join the KL trip with us. Well, after having our free breakfast buffet at the hotel, we were like too hyper active to shop. And I bought a new pair of Esprit watches^^

So, we had skipped our lunch and only managed to buy some snack from Cold Storage till fill up our stomach. Then, while waiting my sister, we went DOME for our tea break:3

The next day was Christmas. We had shopped at Midvalley but before started shopping, we had Baskin-Robbins^^yummy~ To shop, we had no choice but to skip our lunch. At last, we went to Sushi King at about 4.30p.m. for our tea break (I mean lunch). Sushi King has a branch in Kuching and I am NOT willing to eat there when I am in KL. However, that day (public holiday) was too crowded. From afternoon till night, ALL restaurants were full house. =.=||| But then, at about 6 or 7 p.m., my mother saw this Din Tai Fung restaurant at The Garden. So, we went there for the second round a.k.a dinner.

瘦身，对女人来说是一辈子的事。为悦己者容也好，为了健康也罢，女人如果增胖了，就该减肥！不过，是健康的减肥。

相信美食或甜点，是女人所抗拒不了的。但，为了拥有S字形身材，必须做决择，二择其一。如拥美食而弃苗条的身材，你会享受短暂的快乐。吃得津津有味的，但必须付出身材。如择身材而弃美食，恭喜你。。。你已成功一半。

有些女生总不觉得自己是胖的。就像以前的我，明明在发福了，还觉得自己是瘦子的一份子，从来没想过要减肥。
到了中四，自知胖了、肥了，就计划要在SPM考试后开始减肥。2009年新年，瘦身有点成绩。2009年中，尽力维持但还是重了几公斤。2009年十月，上健身房。渐渐地，如今体重已在50公斤以下。

我是遗传性及后天造成的肥胖。亲戚都几乎是肉肉的，嘻嘻。。。我是贪吃的，尤其是零食，爱不释手。爱吃什么就吃什么。所以体重对我来说是秘密。随着年龄增长，就越来越爱美了。瘦身也成了我生活的一部份。培养少吃多动的习惯，我放弃了零食，但也爱上了运动。因为我很享受每次量体重，那个见证努力的时刻，看到自己瘦下，就会让我想要再瘦下去。

瘦身不只是女人的烦脑了。如今，男士也应该减减肥了。

Final exam ended! Finally...but there is no holiday for me. MPW gonna start tomorrow. =.=" Yesterday and today, was the one and only holiday for me. I had spent whole day outing yesterday and today to relax the stress from final exam. Right after exam, I quickly started my keeping fit plan again. I did not go gym for 3 week in preparation for final exam. Went to gym for 1 hour plus on Saturday morning. 30 minutes walking fast on steep track mill plus 100 times "manually" sit-up (till the bone at my butt sufferring much*sweat~). Afternoon, headed to the MBO cineplex watching "2012". At night, club with tiring and sleepy mood, also no drinking this time (to ensure no bear belly and easy to get a "small-size" six pack...impossible??)Today, sleep till 10a.m. then go shopping with parents. Not the kind that shops for clothes, but grocery!!@_@|||ok...then went to cut my hair...Next, back home and having duriansssss as my dinner (what a high calories food). OMG...

Carvery is sort of combination of restaurant and lounge bar.

We had the western food buffet dinner there which costs RM48 per person.
The buffet has many kinds of vegetables which we can simply make salad ourselves. What I remember is: Potato salad,kind of ham salad or meat salad, tomato with black pepper(nice!!), sweet corn, olive oil....and there is thousands island sauce,mayonnaise and Italian dressing..and so on.

The soup will be cream of vegetable. Rich and tasty^^ Fried rice, macaroni and also some vegetable dishes also available.

The atmosphere...

Well, as for the meat...it's not display together with all that food. It is like served one by one, a total of 15 kinds. =) and also, after all the meat had served, we can always request to have that certain kind out of 15 kinds of meat again! Not only that, if you bring enough $money$, can order wine or beer too. There are variety of red wine and beer to choose. Include chivas and alsolute...

Breakfast: Cereal with small amount of Dutch Lady chocolate milk
10.00a.m.: 1banana
Lunch: Cucumber & carrot porridge
1.30Pp.m: 3 slices of dragon fruit
4.00p.m.: 1 bowl of green bean sweet soup (No sugar but winter melon sugar)
Dinner: 1 banana & vegetables soup
Water:5 Litres (>.<)
Output: None!(maybe because body still not used to the "healthy" meal)

Oh, my gosh! I know I'm fat. Not chubby ok? So..gonna start my diet plan. Exercise and eat in a healthy way. Less sugar, less salt and less oil. If my diet plan fails, I will get Herbalife milkshake from my eldest sister. She is sort of like selling that. Last time after the SPM examination in 2008, I looked extremely fat! But, in 2009 Chinese New Year, I successfully lost down my weight, by depending on Herbalife. I everyday drank Herbalife milkshake for my dinner for 2 months. Total consume 2 bottle. However....Herbalife is actually quite expensive. 1 bottler cost about RM100+. But, luckily I got it free-of-charge from my sister. She sponsored me=) So, this time, I'm trying to lost weight without Herbalife. Wish me luck^^
Everyone especially him keeps saying that I'm actually chubby, not fat. But, this is the prove.....

My holidays last untill Wednesday and gonna have Engineering Physics Midterm Test on Saturday. =.=|||

Today, went shopping with family but tHe Spring was flooded with people. (omg>.<)
At last, I had brought a new pair of high heels.
Hmm...because I'm learning and trying to be feminine =) *Don't laugh please!

Actually, I plan to buy shoes from Padini, however...this will only end up with many people having the same shoes as yours.....
There are cases: A few people in my school and among my friends are having the same jacket from Padini.
..and...
I saw two people are wearing the same shoes from Padini which I almost.....ya.....is almost want to buy it..=.=..phew~LUCKILY!!!
muahahha....LOL...

This shoes would be saver. I think.
Just that there is no discount for this shoes =[
Although suits for formal attire, I think it looks better wear with Denim skinny Jeans =D

My family and I went to have my 18th birthday celebration at Li Garden, Hock Lee. Because of the heavy rain, we changed our destination from 3 points to Li Garden, however, did not spoil our mood. ^^ We ordered five dishes. Erm...included drinks and everything, it came to a total of within RM 200.
